Paint + Formulate Workshop
Many stylists don’t realize the direct correlation between balayage and formulation. Paint + Formulate Workshop is designed to blend both brains and technique in a way that will truly impact your career.
Christine is passionate about educating you in ways that are transformative behind the chair and useful in every part of your busy day. This class will challenge you and encourage you to shift your thought process about color theory, formulation and hand painting.
Balayage is much more than a brush and lightener! It involves an understanding of placement, saturation, body position, shoulder movement, tension, product consistency, developer choice, insulation, processing time, transition areas, depth , achieving the best lift, sectioning, hairline details, contrast, and expectation.
The formulation part of this class will be taught in 2 parts, in person and virtually. The 3 part virtual course will allow for a slower pace that’s easily digestible. Every person learns differently, and it is guaranteed you will understand formulation like never before after this class.
It is important to build confidence with knowledge and in this painting workshop, you will find extensive information to help you become a specialist in both formulation and balayage.
Personal development and salon culture will always start the class off! It is a passion of The Color Collective to enhance and heal toxic salon culture in all salons. We believe every stylist can succeed with the right environment and support.
Owner and educator, Christine Turek, will ignite that fire that might be dimming inside of you. She will help you understand the best way to build and maintain clientele, while attracting the type of creativity you desire in your chair.
