You submit a finished result and your thought process behind it.

We look closely and identify that the gloss is sitting too light for the underlying pigment.

The result is intended to be warm, but the warmth is reading as unwanted brass.

Instead of simply saying “use a cooler formula,” we look at why that warmth is showing up.

We discuss dropping the gloss level to provide more depth while maintaining the warmth you actually want.

Then we look at whether a cooler tone is necessary to balance the remaining warmth without losing the desired result.

We may also notice inconsistent lightener saturation contributing to uneven lift, particularly through the root area.

Now you understand more than how to approach a similar situation next time.
